Concrete & Coffee

This fall my company, Dancer Concrete , was able to be part of a project helping a young entrepreneur follow his dreams of opening a business in Fort Wayne. Sean Wang, owner of Trionfale Espresso, has spent his whole life working in his parent’s restaurant but had his own goals of opening a unique coffee shop.  To learn the art of making great coffee Sean spent time traveling to Cuvee Coffee in Austin, Texas learning the proper construction of a coffee drink and coffee cupping (like wine tasting but with coffee). He also traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to learn more at the Specialty Coffee Association of America show where they hosted the World Barista Championship.  Bringing knowledge from these areas and a long passion for coffee, Sean decided to open Trionfale Espresso. Trionfale takes coffee to a unique level with their specialty brewing techniques, proper constructing of the drink, and the special details; like making sure the milk is heated to exactly 140 degrees – which is best for a creamy froth. Trionfale has a great interior space that can fit up to 32 people and promises to be a great place to hang out and enjoy coffee in Fort Wayne.

Trionfale Espresso is located at Dupont Plaza near the intersection of Dupont Rd. and I-69.

Hours: Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 8:00/Saturday 10 am – 8pm

Our Concrete work at Trionfale

We were brought in to finish the concrete floor that was previously hiding under old commercial carpet.  The floor was made up of two separate concrete slabs that had moved over time and caused some gapping and height issues. To complete the floor we scraped off all the carpet glue, ground the concrete down to expose the sand and stone, and to leveled out the high spots . The floor was then sealed with a high wear epoxy and urethane sealer to protect the concrete from any coffee spills and ease of maintenance. The  interior of Trionfale Espresso has a modern feel , allowing natural light to move through the space.
